2DrX Explorations has been hiking, climbing, and exploring the Northwest together for over 20 years. This website is dedicated to showcase our activities and de-mystify some of the questions that others may have about our destinations, especially route information. Viewers may use the material found here to supplement plans for future trips, or merely enjoy as an armchair explorer.

We strongly recommend to anyone that is interested in the history of mining in the Cascades to obtain a copy of the book, Discovering Washington's Historic Mines. This book was written by the Northwest Underground Explorations group, and after studying this book (and other individual's websites) we were convinced of our need to form a similar organization.
